James Horne

Head of Accessible Vehicles, Motability Operations

James Horne is the Head of Accessible Vehicles at Motability Operations, the company that delivers the Motability Scheme to over 750,000 disabled people in the UK. With a background in automotive retail & fleet, James joined Motability Operations in 2012, in the dealer partner team to drive engagement with Motability Scheme dealers and improve customer experience. In James' current role, he delivers the Accessible Vehicle offering enabling the organisation to support Scheme customers who need wheelchair accessible vehicles and bespoke adaptations to remain mobile.  As the company moves its fleet to electric vehicles and supports customers through the transition, James and his team are navigating the unique challenges of electrifying Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles and has been central to the company's partnership with CALLUM and the design of the eVITA concept for the future of mobility.
